- The need
- A personal site that works fully in English and Arabic, loads fast, and shows real engineering instead of a list of skills.
- What it does
- A static site with a right-to-left Arabic version generated from the same source, a WebGL globe you descend through as you scroll, a live sky of real navigation satellites that GitHub Actions refresh every day, a photo dehazing tool that runs in the browser, and an optional light mode.
- Result
- No framework and no server costs, hosted on GitHub Pages with a custom .ae domain and email. Accessibility checks pass with zero issues in both languages and on phones.
Case studies
From problem to working result.
Websites, tools, automation and algorithms. Each case shows what was needed, what I built, and how it turned out.
- The need
- A small business that wants customers to find the menu, the opening hours and a way to order, in both languages, on a phone.
- What it does
- A one-page site with an instant English and Arabic switch, a filterable menu, an "open now" line that follows Abu Dhabi time, and an order-ahead form.
- Result
- Loads fast, works right to left, and the owner can update the menu from one list in the code.
- The need
- Plan blending schedules that keep up with production needs, and let the team see what is happening as it happens.
- What I built
- With my team, an optimizer that produces blending schedules against production requirements, plus a real-time monitoring dashboard.
- Result
- First place at the 4th edition of the Pioneers hackathon, March 2024.
- The need
- Help a solar-powered home use energy when it has the most of it.
- What I built
- Models that forecast solar output and power use, and a mobile app that recommends when to run appliances.
- Result
- Part of the KU home that placed 2nd in energy efficiency at Solar Decathlon Middle East 2021.
- The need
- Assign classes, rooms and instructors so nobody is double-booked, a job that takes days by hand.
- What I built
- A hybrid of a genetic algorithm and ant colony optimization that searches for clash-free timetables, with the data kept in SQLite.
- Result
- Schedules generated automatically instead of by hand.
